Wedding Photographer

We're super stoked that we were able to book our photographer yesterday! We chose Polka Dot Photography's Jenifer Johnston to capture the special moments of our big day! Check her out at jeniferjohnstonphotography.com! I displayed just a couple samples of her beautiful work below...

Faux Wedding Bouquets!!

Courtesy of Ardesign on ETSY! ... I LOVE THESE! They fit my theme perfectly, AND they are handmade and affordable which is awesome! The designer custom makes every bouquet so they won't be exactly like the one's pictured but you get the idea!

Below are the different angles of the bridal bouquet HARVEST MOON (mine will have more orange incorporated) & the groom's boutonniere:

The other one I'm considering for the bridal bouquet is the style WOODLAND RUSTIC (again I'd get more orange in the bouquet)

This one is another bridal bouquet that fits my colors is called LEMONGRASS...I can't decide...AHH!

The bridesmaids bouquets I've considered are from different ETSY sellers and are pictured below. The first three pictured are angles of one I'd get if I got the HARVEST MOON bridal bouquet, the next 2 pics are of the one I'd get if I got the WOODLAND RUSTIC bridal bouquet, and the last 2 are if I got the LEMONGRASS bridal bouquet.

I think my personal favorite is the HARVEST MOON bridal bouquet with the first bridesmaid bouquet pics. Also below are the groomsmen's boutonnieres:

Official Wedding Venue

So it's official our wedding venue is going to be "Donovan's Place Wedding Site". It is an outdoor site surrounded by beautiful oaks and interesting artistic touches. They also have birds you can release at the ceremony but I have a slight fear of birds so we will not being do that lol. Also on site are two guest houses available for rent so we were able to rent both. We are renting the "Farmhouse" for 3 days so that my family (immediate, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents) can stay comfortably for the set-up and take-down time and the ceremony. Shane and I are renting the "Contemporary Flat" for an entire week so we can relax for the wedding, set-up, take-down, and then have a little time for a honeymoon :-). The bridal party will be able to stay with Shane and I in the Contemporary Flat for the night before and the night of the wedding. We're super excited!

BARN BEAUTIES!!!!

OMG! I found these two BEAUTIFUL, RUSTIC, and did I say CHEAP barns on a Friday night so I of course have to wait until Monday to see if my date is still available...most places are already taken so here's hoping! (ALL OF THESE PICS ARE FROM OTHER BLOGS)

THIS IS BEAZELL BARN IN CORVALLIS! (ONLY $695, INCLUDING CHAIRS/TABLES!!!!)

I love the lighting and the draping on the beams!

This house is on the property for use too! We'd get married on the outside lawn area like in the picture up above and then have the reception in the barn!

THIS IS STEIN-BOOZIER BARN IN WILSONVILLE (ONLY $1000-doesn't have chairs/tables so I'll have to rent those but it'll still be WAY cheaper than everything else I've found!)

Love the idea of getting married inside with the barn door opens if it rains!

Perfect area for food!
